I’m a Stila addict so it’s a relatively safe bet that when their latest products hit my radar, I’m intrigued. Add my recent flair for the au natural look to the equation and Stila’s latest One Step Correct is a must-have.
Praised by editors, beauty junkies and insiders alike, One Step Correct promises to yield perfectly balanced, brightened skin and overall complexion perfection thanks to its revolutionary new formula.
The cylinder of three-toned ribbons shouldn’t be feared: they apply sheer and have the very intentional purpose of matching every skin tone.
A flawless complexion in a bottle? We didn’t know such a thing was possible (even from the likes of our beauty industry counterparts who always promise the sun, moon and stars)Â but the smooth purpose of this pump-applicator tube matched with its rave reviews makes it a definite must-try.

It’s Thursday before a long weekend and I thought you guys could use a little pick-me-up just as much as I could so here’s something cool I just came across while browsing all my favourite morning sites (more than a few of which I refresh throughout the day). My long-time favourite “let’s put out an indie message in a mainstream way” magazine, Nylon is where I just learned of an awesome new beauty site, The Fairest. It’s the online retailer that’s going to be every beauty junkie’s one-stop-shop. Since we’re all asking ourselves where we can pinch a few pennies (being frugal is the new black in case you haven’t heard) and since beauty is a big part of our routines (or at least I’d imagine so if you’re reading this right now) and it’s an equally costly venture, it always feels good to spare a few bones $$$ in that department. The Fairest has an incredible inventory of covetable brands so sign up here to save 75% off your fave products (Stila and Butter London top my list).
Only downside? There’s a chance they only ship to the US. BUT because our team works hard to cover every angle, here’s a tip Joanna just shared with me: Borderlinx–they’ll act as your US address. After stocking up at The Fairest, you can find me checking-out at Topshop–finally!

Today I’ll be heading over to The Shopping Channel (it’s beauty month) to talk about summer beauty trends (if you flipped through the July issue you’ll know its all about sun-kissed skin, bronzer, nudes and vibrant colours), insider tricks and my personal beauty experiences (and mistakes!). I’m super impressed with their beauty brands: Stila, Ojon, DuWop, Pur Minerals and this new green skin and body line called Revolution Organics. I went bananas for their lip balm—it’s luxuriant and rich with a light fresh lemon and grass scent. Considering what goes on our lips goes straight into our bellies, I’m loving the fact that it’s USDA certified organic–the highest level of certification available. Plus it does double duty as a conditioner for your cuticles and nails.
