Bring on the feel-good holiday shopping, festive cheer and a burst of music. Tonight Bloor St will come alive with Holt Renfrew’s annual unveiling of their glittering holiday windows. Their evening street party always kicks off with a big-ticket performer and this year the spotlight will shine on indie-singer Feist. The inside of Holt’s will be decked out with festive cheer including a pop-up store by cheerful Dylan’s Candy (owned by the Dylan Lauren, daughter of designer Ralph Lauren). A percentage of tonight’s evening sales will be donated to the United Way.
It’s free so bring your friends! Just remember to dress warmly ‘cuz those heated street lamps don’t seem to stretch that far. My stay warm secret: an extra-hot venti Starbuck’s Eggnog Latte.
The festivities begin at 6.30pm right in front of Holts on Bloor St.
