kiehlsThis notice goes out to the beauty-obsessed gals of Montreal. Tomorrow, the Kiehl’s boutique located at 760 Ste-Catherine Street West will be donating 100% of their day’s sales to Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal’s Nutcracker Fund for Children.

Elise Charbonneau, the Associate Director of the Nutcracker Fund for Children, says this collaboration with Kiehl’s will give underprivileged children the opportunity to experience a Nutcracker show as well as attend educational workshops in their schools. “The Fund allows children to experience a magical moment as the holiday’s approach. It’s often their first invitation to the arts and their first outing to a big theatre.”

In conjunction with the Ministry of Education, students are selected by the Nutcracker Fund from the most underprivileged schools in the Montreal area. Roughly 1,800 children will get this fantastic opportunity to experience the arts and fall in love with the beauty of ballet.

Kristin Armstrong, the Vice-President and General Manager of Kiehl’s, says they’re thrilled to be a part of such a project that will give so many children  the opportunity to experience the magic of the arts. Kudos to you Kiehl’s.

So if you’re in downtown Montreal tomorrow and need to stock up on some soft, buttery creams for yourself (or even if you don’t), make a stop at Kiehl’s between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. It’s almost winter and we all need to quench the thirst of our dry skin ’round this time of year. Why not support a great cause while we do it?
