I’m a Stila addict so it’s a relatively safe bet that when their latest products hit my radar, I’m intrigued. Add my recent flair for the au natural look to the equation and Stila’s latest One Step Correct is a must-have.
Praised by editors, beauty junkies and insiders alike, One Step Correct promises to yield perfectly balanced, brightened skin and overall complexion perfection thanks to its revolutionary new formula.
The cylinder of three-toned ribbons shouldn’t be feared: they apply sheer and have the very intentional purpose of matching every skin tone.
A flawless complexion in a bottle? We didn’t know such a thing was possible (even from the likes of our beauty industry counterparts who always promise the sun, moon and stars)Â but the smooth purpose of this pump-applicator tube matched with its rave reviews makes it a definite must-try.

Sometimes there’s nothing quite like a really good blush. And it’s hard not to fall for anything François Nars puts on our radar. Our latest obsession? Fall perfect Nars Douceur blush. When the summer fades (and so do our healthy tans) we appreciate a little complexion booster as much as anyone else and with transparent pigments that yield a natural healthy glow which can even be layered with other blushes ( a personal layering favourite is Nars blush in Luster), Douceur (a new shade for fall) is a great bet. Just ask Glee star and Emmy nominee, Lea Michele who wore the blush for the prime time event last weekend.

The hottest Hollywood hairstyle these days? Anything cropped. For her new film role, One Day, Anne Hathaway has joined the ranks of other pixie cut-lovers like Carey Mulligan and Emma Watson. Only Hathaway’s new chopped off hairstyle is more boyish than fairy. I preferred her shoulder-length feminine hair (but i’m partial to long hair). What do you think of Hathaway’s new sideswept bob?

One might think that after seeing allllllllllll the beauty tricks that pass through our offices, the novelty would wear off but thanks to the nature of the industry getting bored is hardly an occupational hazard. Sometimes, they even manage to surprise you.
I’m a lipstick girl. Gloss’ sticky factor doesn’t appeal to me in the least but leave it to Smashbox’s O-Gloss Noir to change my mind. A sister gloss to the original O-Gloss Noir, this limited edition lip smacker goes on black initially until it blends with your skin’s chemistry to reveal a customized crushed berry hue. Yielding the perfect just-been-kissed effect, we couldn’t deny ourselves this magic trick!

Oh boy.
I like Drew Barrymore. I like that she’s best buds with Cameron Diaz and that she sort of has this no-fuss approach to stardom…or so it seems. Lately she’s been gracing the covers of a few notable American glossies like Nylon and ELLE most recently and the April 2009 issue of W magazine featured an editorial that is hardly forgettable in my mind, especially for what we’re used to seeing Drew do.
I get it, she’s exploring her style options and up until now everything she’s tried out has pretty much coasted by my radar. Until now. We’re loving ombré hair this season. It looks great on Jessica Biel and Rachel Bilson. But it was only a matter of time that someone tried the trend out and succeeded in making it look more avoidable that covetable.
What do you think of Drew’s take on the ombré trend? (vote below)Â
