This weekend Canada’s largest contemporary design show, the Interior Design Show/IDS10 lands in Toronto. If you’re hunting for modern home decor inspiration, or just want to ogle some of the best in world-class design from renowned or hot, up-and-coming talent (300+ exhibitors are on hand), then this is one show you don’t want to miss. I had a sneak peak last night and I’m now suffering from a serious case of home décor envy, not to mention the fact that I’ve got new ideas sprouting right, left and centre that I want to incorporate into my condo. Hmmmm, the Home Renovation Tax Credit expires at the end of the January, perhaps I need to get hustling if I want to take advantage of up to $1,350 in savings?
Not matter what your budget, you’ll find inspiration at every price-point. Below are a few images from exhibitors at this year’s show (clock-wise from top left): a budget-friendly Ikea living room, a sketch of the luxurious bathroom on display at IDS10 inspired by Calvin Klein’s perfume Euphoria, and a dream walk-in closet by LEMA and a ultra-sleek kitchen by Scavolini.
The IDS10 presented by RADO is open to the public on January 23 and 24 at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre. Tickets are available at the door or at interiordesignshow.com.
