Get Julia Roberts’ Golden Globes look

Julia RobertsMy favourite part about the Golden Globes and other awards shows? Checking out the hair and makeup sported by Hollywood’s hottest stars. The natural makeup look is a hot trend for spring 2010 and it’s one of my personal faves. It looks effortlessly-chic yet oh-so-elegant at the same time so it’s no surprise that celebs are already hot on the trend.

Julia Roberts, a seasoned pro when it comes to red carpet events, is one of the few Hollywood stars who never shows up to a party overdone. Her makeup is always simple and natural-looking and the Golden Globes this past weekend was no exception. She donned the natural trend that’s hot for the upcoming spring and pulled it off perfectly.

Julia’s natural glow was created with Lancôme products so you can easily get the same look yourself.  For a natural glow, Lancôme celebrity makeup artist, Genevieve, applied some tinted moisturzer: Bienfait Multi Vital Teinté. Then she used a touch of Color Design Blush in Petticoat Pink.  For her eyes, Genevieve used Le Crayon Khôl in Black Ebony and Définicils Pro Mascara in Black. For Julia’s lips, she used Le Lipstique lip liner in Natural Mauve, L’Absolu Rouge in Coquette and topped them with Juicy Tubes gloss in Hallucination.

If you’re lusting after this trend, too, opt for neutral shades like Julia did. And remember to keep your hair simple, as well. Julia Roberts opted for soft, natural-looking waves which was the perfect complement to her understated makeup.
