Would you wear Burberrys platform lace-up booties?
On Wednesday night the hottest ticket in town was the celebratory fete for Burberry’s latest store opening on Bloor St, Toronto’s high-end designer shopping mecca. You better believe there was a lot of plaid-loving, trench-coat adoring fashionista’s making their rounds, doling out airing kisses (I was, but alas no Burberry trench quite yet). Heroes lovely Ali Larter popped by decked out in, you guessed it, head-to-toe Burberry. The defining item of her tough-chic look—her incredibly fierce lace-up Burberry Prorsum booties (priced at a cool $1,095)! Click on the jump to read more.
The Fall runways were full of edgy (almost severe) platform booties, many with tractor-style soles. These drool-worthy Burberry boots would be a killer addition to my every-growing shoe closet, but the price-tag is hard to swallow. Below are a few similar boots with more wallet-friendly price tags that are making me smile.
From right: Nine West, $139; Aldo Shoes, $180; KORS Michael Kors, $350 USD.
Time to spill: do you think you would rock these edgy, sky-high boots?

I would definitely rock those boots if I had $1,095 to spare. They’re amazing. But I also love the black Michael Kors ones.

I love them, with the right pants, it would look incredible and actually very practical in the snow with those nice soles!
