These jeans are a stretch

Fidelity's Super Stretch jeans
Taking a look around the LOULOU office, I’ve noticed that most of us don’t wear pants. No, we’re not emulating Gaga (though many of us do have Bad Romance on repeat) but we have a fondness for tights and leggings with dresses/longer tops. Hence, our jeans are not seeing the light of day as often as they used to and I must admit that when I opt for jeans, I’m not nearly as comfortable as I am in my daily go-to black tights.
Thing is, denim was a major trend on the SS10 runways. How are labels making us want to wear tight, skinny jeans again? They’re tweaking their denim to be extra-comfy stretchy: Most of Diesel’s styles have stretch now, Fidelity is introducing “Super Stretch” jeans, Second’s “Yoga Jeans” are available in more washes than ever and “jeggings” are available just about everywhere from Dynamite to Net-Ã -Porter.
So I need to know: Are you on board with this look? (Nay-sayers better have compelling arguments if they’re saying no to comfort!)

Besides the fact that the word “jeggings” is just annoying (unlike our beloved “snood”), the truth is they’re really not flattering unless you’re super-tall and super-skinny (like most clothing, I guess).

Every pair of jegging sold should come with a user guide…
