A retro find: Vintage rotary phone
I adore mixing modern decor with antique treasures. So while perusing around Anthropologie yesterday evening, I thought the home décor gods where smiling down on me when I spotted this adorably quirky yellow vintage rotary phone. It would be the ideal addition to my bedroom: Perched on my night-table in my nearly all-white bedroom (with a few black accents), this would add a gorgeous pop of vibrant mod style. Who cares that I don’t even have a home phone line! My heart sank when I flipped over the phone and glanced at the price tag: $238. Wowzers!? If only I had kept my parent’s rotary phone from the early ’80s. Perhaps it pays to be a packrat?

Liv you read my mind! I’m obsessed with rotary phones and once searched something like 4 Value Villages high and low in the hopes of finding a Pottery Barn (Black) alternative at a friendlier price.

Haha my mom will be pleased to read this: I’m pretty sure she still has at least one (functioning!) rotary phone in the house!

I’m a big fan of the modern vintage vibe at home! I actually just bought a great mid-century dining table this weekend and am in the midst of stripping and staining it.
