Erin Wasson’s Fashion Week beauty looks

As the newly appointed web beauty editor (and makeup aficionado) I was totally captivated by the dramatic eye makeup at the Erin Wasson x RVCA runway show at NY Fashion Week last Friday.
Models in the show donned one of the season’s hottest makeup trends. Dramatic eyes are totally hot this year and I personally love them.
Find out how to get this runway chic beauty trend.
Thanks to our lovely pals at Maybelline New York, I now know the secret to an instantly sultry gaze. I contemplated sharing the secret with you, but hey, LOULOU readers deserve it!
Ok, so first things first. Makeup artists opted for Maybelline’s Mineral Power Liquid Foundation or Dream Liquid Foundation. When emphasizing the eyes, it’s really important to opt for smooth, fresh-looking skin and subtle lips.
Once the complexion is looking flawless, the makeup artists at Fashion Week opted for Maybelline’s Define-a-Line Eye Liner. Just apply the dark hue all around the contour of the eye and smudge away with a soft-tipped brush on the opposite end. Then, add a few coats of Lash Stiletto Mascara (in the darkest black you can find) for that extra dose of glam.

LOVES
To finish off this runway look, try Colour Sensational Lip Colour in Broadway Bronze. My personal opinion is that your lips should never be in competition with your eyes. Emphasize one or the other for a simple yet oh-so-chic look.
Those models on the runways at Fashion Week aren’t the only ladies who can look that great. True, we don’t have live-in makeup artists to keep us looking glam all the time, but in a few simple steps and with the right products, you can get the look yourself in no time!
Though I still wouldn’t mind my own personal makeup artist…
