My pediDon’t you hate it when your nail polish starts to chip off your toes? I do and I also loathe waiting two hours for my nails to dry. That’s why I opt for the instantly-dry, 100% chip-resistant pedicure.

Find out how my nail polish lasts up to two months without chipping!

Flapping my hands and toes under a fan to get them to dry faster is not something I am willing to do. It’s super time-consuming and you end up with a perfect pedi for only a few days. Then the chipping starts.

Solution? Bio Sculpture Gel pedicure. I have being doing the same thing on my fingernails for years but this year, I tried it on my toes and I just love it! The colour on my toes is gel that cooks under a UV lamp for about two minutes and is instantly dry. It won’t get ruined by salt water and can’t be dissolved with nail polish remover. It stays shiny and fresh the whole time.

It comes in every colour imaginable so you can go for a French manicure look or solid colour. (You can even get a little picture stamped on it like I did. I think it gives my toes a cute summer look.) Think of Bio Sculpture Gel as a thick coat of polish that dries instantly onto your natural nail. This past weekend, I got both my fingernails and my toesies done and I walked right out of the salon without worrying about smudging my mani or pedi.

The best part about it is that is doesn’t need to be touched up very often. Toe nails grow relatively slowly so the pedi won’t start to grow out for about two months. Since summer is so short, you only need to do it twice and your toes will be picture-perfect all season. (If you prefer change and still love your treasured nail polishes, you can get a light Bio pedi and cover it with polish whenever you want because nail polish remover won’t dissolve the gel pedi. You can have the best of both worlds.)

How much is the gel pedicure? Only $35! I do my manis and pedis with Marilyne Gerbeau at De Neuville Coiffure in Montreal. She’s the Bio Sculpture queen of this city. If you’d like to give it a try in your own city, you can find a technician anywhere in Canada right here.
